Our client is a market leader in the field of design, construction and maintenance of cremators and incineration equipment.
They are currently looking for a Sales Support Engineer:-
Responsible for the sale of cremators and incinerators globally, as an integrated part of a highly motivated sales team. Able to work unsupervised with the minimum of supervision.
SPECIFIC DUTIES:
1. Compile general responses, quotations and cost estimates, and formal tenders as required.
2. Assistance in all sales tasks within a busy sales environment, requiring a degree of flexibility to meet changing customer demands.
3. Provide a technical assessment of enquiries and general market requirements in conjunction with the Technical Department.
4. Actively promote and market our current product range in the designated sales area(s).
5. Establish market needs and trends within the industry in the designated sales area(s).
6. Establish and maintain the company databases for market and competitor intelligence.
7. Maintain links with current customers in order to establish potential future sales opportunities, including sale of spare parts or service work.
8. Provide a monthly report to the Group Sales Manager detailing current status of enquiries, new contacts, sales achieved, etc.
9. Assist in the identification of potential markets and customers in designated sales areas.
10. Assistance at sales exhibitions as appropriate
Based in Leeds but some overseas travel may be required.
They are looking for an Enginerring graduate with a minimum of 2 years working experience in a sales environment and preferably in an engineering/technical company.
