Salary: £15,600k - rising to £17,680 after qualifying period

Salaries up to £17,680 are available for experienced Debt Collection and Negotiators in the Bradford area!

ROLE OVERVIEW
Working within a busy and energetic atmosphere recovering pre-legal and legal debt, you will be dealing with a full range of customers on the telephone, chasing missed payments by telephone and letter.

THE SHIFTS
Based close to the major motorways and with parking available, this role is to work on a shift basis across the following time periods;
*3 days per week 8.45am - 5.00pm
*1 day per week 1pm - 8pm
*1 day per week 8.45am - 5.30pm
*1 in 3 Saturday mornings 9am - 1pm

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
*A confident telephone manner
*The ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with customers and clients
*Good numeric skills
*A good command of the English Language - both verbal and written
*A polite but assertive attitude
*Good keyboard and PC skills

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE
Previous collections experience would be highly advantageous however training will be provided.

JOB SPECIFICATION
*Responsible for the collection of pre-legal and / or legal debt via the telephone and letter.
*Ensure all communications are in line with company policies, standards and procedures.
*Manage client and debtor relations as appropriate.
*Manage accounts to negotiate the best possible payments from customers by letter and telephone
*Chasing missed payments by letter and telephone
*Analysing financial statements
*Maintain accurate records for each account of all correspondence and conversations.
*Ad hoc requirements as requested by Supervisor.
*Achieving individual / team target.
*Adhere to company policies, standards and procedures.
*Meet deadlines in a timely manner.
