    A collaborative partnership led by a patient programme within the health sector. This is part of a package of government measures to support carers. It will build on training already available to carers in England to ensure that carers over the age of 18 are able to access good quality training to enable them to safeguard their own health and that of the person they care for.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    Implementation of Quality Standards for provider agencies, facilitators/coaches/lead facilitators and for generic and tailored modules.

    Regularly reviewing and updating quality standards.

    Management of freelance facilitators, coaches and lead facilitators.

    Key Tasks

    Work with the Partnership Liaison Managers to ensure that all potential Provider Agencies are fully aware of quality standards, also ensuring that funding is only allocated to Provider Agencies who meet required standards.

    Ensure that appropriate support is available for potential Provider Agencies.

    Work with the Product Development Manager to ensure that all generic and tailored modules and associated resources meet quality standards.

    Work with appropriate stakeholders and consultants to ensure all quality standards are regularly updated and reviewed.

    Management of freelance facilitators, coaches and lead facilitators

    Ensure that sufficient freelance facilitators, coaches and lead facilitators are recruited to meet the needs of the Provider Agency.

    Provide management and support for freelance facilitators, coaches and lead facilitators.

    The successful candidate will offer a professional qualification or equivalent experience within a similar role or field, have proven experience of implementing quality standards in a relevant field, experience of developing and / or delivering training for carers would be an advantage but not essential. Understanding of training delivery, good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes, especially Outlook, Word and Excel. Facilitation skills, Coaching skills, Ability to develop and maintain strong key relationships, highly developed communication skills, excellent negotiating skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
