A collaborative partnership led by a patient programme within the health sector. This is part of a package of government measures to support carers. It will build on training already available to carers in England to ensure that carers over the age of 18 are able to access good quality training to enable them to safeguard their own health and that of the person they care for.
Working as part of a Government-funded initiative to improve the support given to carers, you will be responsible for the development and management of the relationship with their fully-funded partner organisations and with licensed providers to enable the project to effectively deliver the programme. You will be involved in the negotiation of contracts with fully-funded partner organisations and the management of these relationships. Typically, you will monitor the operating performance of the contracts and identify, interpret and provide advice and support on any issues arising to ensure effective working relationships.
Working proactively with project team members and with both fully-funded organisations and licensed providers to embed a partnership working approach that ensures the effective implementation and delivery of the project plan.
Crucially, you will have experience of working in partnership and consortium projects and also negotiating contract tenders. You will also have the ability to develop and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders. Excellent negotiation skills are a must as is the ability to influence at all levels. A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office coupled with excellent planning, prioritisation and organisational skills are essential to be successful in this role.
