Our client a leading hotel in Leeds is looking for a Front Office Manager to join their team
The first impression our customers receive is from our Front Office Team and it is vital that this impression is outstanding and a reflection of their hotel standards. We are looking for an exceptional person to lead our Front Office team. You will be working to ensure that their guests receive the highest customer service and to manage and ensure the smooth operations within the Front of House section, incorporating Reception, Concierge and the Night’s team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
To ensure that guests receive a warm welcome on arrival, are able to check-in and out quickly and efficiently and on departure have made the correct payment for their stay
To ensure that all shifts run to a consistently high level of service
To continually train and develop the team, including carrying out departmental induction's and skills training for new staff
Ensuring full compliance with all health, safety and hygiene legislation
To maximise sales and set targets and objectives for your team
Communicating with the team regarding the day’s business and holding departmental meetings
Carrying out Personal Development Plans with your team and performance management
Working with HR to ensure that recruitment is correct for the department
This role includes duty management shifts
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Successful candidates will have:
Previous experience in a similar role within a 4* hotel
A passion for delivering high quality customer service
Ability to lead and develop a team
Training and development experience,
Experience of maximizing sales and working with budgets
An energetic approach and work well under pressure
