My client is looking to recruit a Business Development Advisor to be based at their Huddersfield Office.

The aim of role and main responsibility is to develop & actively promote their training provision increasing occupancy of committed LSC funded learners on Apprenticeships, Train to Gain and other initiatives. Also, to be the main point of contact for current and potential Employer engagement, offering high levels of customer service to both Companies and Learners.

Duties to include:

The promotion of our clients services to increase business via the forging of links with committed organisations, promoting GFWBL and other training requirements.
The preparation and delivery of presentations to organisations in order to gain new business and contracts.
The recruitment of potential employers for future Apprenticeships/ Train to Gain and other provisions
Ensure that relationships with current Employers / external organisations are maintained.
To secure sufficient quality leads to meet targets as per the salary scales below
Attend Career Events as and when required, to raise awareness of the Company and promote its services.
To be pro-active in the development of other areas / sources of income
To assist in the development of Marketing materials.
Completion of relevant paperwork, maintaining all records in line with YH and LSC requirements.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing and experienced person with an excellent knowledge of the Apprenticeship/ Train to Gain route and work based training. Excellent communication / presentation skills essential. The successful applicant will possess basic IT skills in addition to a good standard of education and previous occupational background in a Customer focused environment. NVQ Level III in Customer Service would be advantageous. Applicants must hold a current driving licence.

Commencement Salary package: £17,400 - £24,800 dependent on qualifications and experience. 5% benefits / cash option package after 6 months employment and immediate life assurance cover from commencement of employment.
